What are the best sources for used quality Civil War (authentic replica for living history) uniforms, accoutrements and other items. Other than ebay of course? Any experience with this? Thoughts?

There are a few places in Gettysburg that sell used gear. Also check for a sutler called Maryland Sutlers. They have a web page, or you can find them at events. They sell all kinds of used gear.

Bro. George...At many of the larger reenacting events on the evening prior, ie, a Friday if the event is scheduled for a Sat. & Sunday, sveral men & sutlers have a "blanket"sale which is a great way to find equipment & uniforms. Reenactors place a blanket in front of their tents & display merchandise on them.  Sutlers who have already set up also offer great bargains at this time.  Several reenactors whom I have known over the past 40 years paid their way to & from events this way. Good

luck!  Ulysses

I like to use these sites. I lost my sutler list, but when I find it I will post the rest of the sutlers.
