You're a Mean One, Mr, Grinch - that was sung by Thurl Ravenscroft (1914-2005), perhaps best known as the voice of Tony the Tiger, ala Corn Flakes fame. He did a ton of Disney character voices as well. Here's just some of my favorite albums: Early American Christmas (John Mock, 1994) - Tough one to find now, although I did find the sheet music for this album. Some nice songs, especially if you like guitars and dulcimers, flutes, whistles and string quartets. Carpenters Christmas Albums - Karen Carpenter is my all-time favorite female voice. Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Got interested in this band about four years ago. I'd recommend the Christmas Trilogy Box Set. They do a mind-blowing live show every year with the audience consisting of people of all ages - I like that. They give you heavy duty rock, some R&B, Childrens Choirs, laser lights, fire and snow. Incredible! December (Moody Blues, 2003) - I'm just an old Moodies fan. This one was delightfully done. The little kid on the album cover is the same kid that appears on Long Distance Voyager (1981) album cover. Have a Merry Cristmas, everyone, ConnYankee

I have several Halloween and Thanksgiving songs. Of course they are ones I taught my kindergarteners and first graders Like Five Little Pumpkins and Five Little Turkeys. Favorite Thanksgiving song is Alice's Restaraunt . I even have a t shirt with a map of the crime on it . use to wear it at Thanksgiving. Monster Mash is favorite Halloween songs.
