I don't believe in reincarnation but by golly, I do believe Conan O'Brien had a past life in the Civil War!  The resemblance in uncanny. :D Here's the photo to prove it...

Interesting, definite resemblance. As a coincidence grew up in Bossier Parish just north of Red River Parish. Remember seeing the PBS program on the Coushatta Massacre. To deviate from the current thread, my best memory of Coushatta was the incredible barbeque I had when we would travel through there south. Not all of my memories are historical but some are gastronomical. My appologies, I'm from Louisiana.

Fuller , that sure looks like Conan.  I taught with a guy years ago that was the spitting imagine of John Wilkes Booth.  One of the teachers put up a copy of the reward poster and subsituted the guy's picture for one of the Booth pictures.  . Looked like the same guy!!!

It's hard for me to look at all the old photos and not think of what actor nowadays would do a good job at playing that particular person I'm looking at.  That Conan one was just a little too strange!

A sad obituary for Twitchell to be compaared with Conan O'Brien.

The talk show host does a fine job of entertaining. Twitchell was trying his best to make the emancipation transition as smooth as possible.

Don't take offense, please. Just painting a contrast.

I absolutely agree ole.  It was not my intention to overshine the history behind Twichell with his amazing facial similarities to Conan.  I just thought the resemblance was amazing.  I thought about typing this out in my first post in this thread but I didn't 'cause I was still amazed then as I am now.
