I recently discovered this site. they have some excellent travel guides for  several ACW battlefields. I purchased the Vicksburg Battlefield tour package.
it came with an excellent guidebook, cd-rom, and a 2-disk audio tour narrated by Ed Bearss.

not to long ago I purchased a book sponsored by the CW Battlefield preservation group and it had troop movements pasted over current maps of today. Not all the battlefields had pics like these but the major ones did. And all the fund went towards the battlefield preservation.
