has anyone heard of the Twilight series? there are so far 4 books: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. i heard a lot of good reviews over these books so i decided to read em. as it turns out they are awesome books. one called Midnight Sun should be released sometime next year i think. i googled twilight last night and found out that they have turned it into a movie that will be released sometime in either November or December of this year. if you like Harry Potter you will probably like this. its mostly geared toward teenagers and young adults but i have noticed that a lot of older adults enjoy them also. lots of action, danger and fight scenes

Almost all the women in the O.R. where I work are into these books....it's everywhere I go! They're a bit too romantic and girlie for my tastes. I like my vampires vicious and ruthless ala "30 Days of night" . My friend Casey - who is 30, female, and married - absolutely loves the Twilight series. She's also a Harry potter fan so I think you're dead on in connecting the two groups. Did you catch the movie?

you saying its everywhere you go, reminds me of all the Hanna Montana, High School Musical crap. i cant get away from it. its on EVERYTHING!!!!

I loved Harry Potter. I read the whole series. One of my first graders gave me the first three volumes. I preordered all the others . I am not a fan of vampire stories so haven't read the Twilight series. I never read the Anne Rice series either. Just not my cup of tea.

Too many books I haven't read to reread a fictional book again.

seems like we were thinking the same thing!!! ;)

i dunno about the whole prom thing, there is nothing in the wprld  that could make me go to one, and if somebody did to me what Edward did to Bella (tricking her into going) that would be grounds for a breakup.

aside from thinking the whole prom thing is over rated, im just downright accident prone and tend to get hurt if im not sitting or standing still

i find the whole prom thing very cheesy, and luckily im homeschooled so there is no risk of me ever having to go!!!
i can have legal fun in plenty of other ways, but im not the get all gussied up for one night and go dancing type. if i have a really good reason ill get dressed up and not complain, but id kill myself if i tried to dance.
