In Little Mac's defense, Widow is correct, he did move quickly after getting SO 191. Unfortunately, "quickly" for McClellan was still akin to half-frozen molasses. Lucky for McClellan that those soldiers found the order, and lucky for Bobby Lee that, of all the Union commanders, the order fell into the hands of George McClellan. At Franklin, Hood was initially lucky when the flight of 2 advanced US brigades up the Columbia Pike shielded his men and allowed the initial breakthrough. I'm of the opinion that Franklin was a closer thing than typically thought... HankC
