Hi I was involved with a website and Forum Board dedicated to Ulysses S Grant called the Ulysses S Grant Home Page. It went off line about 10 days ago, supposedly for mainteneance but is still off. There's a new page under construction under the same name, but I don't think it's the same one. Does anyone know what happened? The missing one was run by Candace Scott. This is strange, since we just did our LinkCentral update a couple weeks ago and the Grant site was there. It's been a top-rated site for years and it seems hard to believe Candace would just shut it down so suddenly. I seem to remember she has shut the discussion board down in the past due to trouble-makers, but never the whole site. Maybe the publisher of this book that's up there now made her an offer she couldn't refuse for the URL. Whatever, hope it's a temporary thing. It would be a great loss to see that site gone.

Thanks Java Yeah I agree with you. Maybe it's still taking longer to get back on line then she thoughtt but I'm puzzled about her Home Page space going to a new person. Anyway we'll see I guess.

Hi I just took another look at where the old Grant website was and that newer one under construction for the Grant photos is the only one that comes up. The old one is gone for good.
