I have read nothing about that. That doesn't mean it didn't happen. I think the feud with Hill took most of his time.

Susan, I believe Falci, who portrayed A.P. Hill in the movie "Gettysburg," is the same person of which you speak. Check this site: http://www.pickettsociety.com/hill02.html In the group picture below the monument picture, he is identified in the caption as a past president of the NY CWRT. In the picture on the bottom, the caption said he gives lectures on Hill. It all seems to add up: his unusual last name, his interest in Hill, even his uncanny resemblance to the general.

Pvt. He is the same one that played A.P. Hill in the movie. Basecat on this board is a member of the New York Round table and has mentioned him several times in conversations. A.P. Hill is another of those intereresting characters in the Confederate Army. Colorful characters I should say. it's a shame there wasn't more seen of him in "Gettysburg" other than a scene of him talking to Lee beside the road I don't recall him having any significant screen time. I think there might be a bit more in the directors cut but not much.

At Stones river, I believe a Confederate officer asked permission to shoot Bragg...too bad he was denied as The CSA would have been well served...MHO

Bragg had more supporters within the army than I think is commonly acknowledged. The anti-Bragg people simply get all the air time by historians. Breckenridge certainly was not innocent at Stones River and that's just one of many examples.
