Folks,

Using Laurie's computer to post this. OK, here's an update on the computer problems we're having. Friday, I had to cut news short and cancel trivia due to the CWi computer crashing every 5 minutes or so. After examining the situation, I realized my power supply unit (PSU) had died. For those not familiar with the PSU, besides being a conduit for power to the different components of the computer, it also contains the fan that exhausts hot air from the computer case. No PSU= no fan = overheating of computer=frequent crashing until it gets so bad, parts are fried beyond repair. Luckily we caught it before that happened, thanks no doubt to a seperate motherboard fan inside the computer.

So Friday, I had to order a new PSU from Newegg. Price wasn't horrible, but overnight shipping price is. Anyway, FedEx doesn't deliver here on weekends, so "overnight" means order Friday to get it Monday. So it will be here Monday afternoon. Then I have to figure out how to install it. What this means to you is this:

We'll be able to update news Monday. Since it's a WordPress blog, I can use Laurie's computer to do that.

We'll have to cancel trivia again Monday, since Laurie's computer doesn't have the software installed that we use to update the main site. Things will be back to normal for trivia Wednesday.

We appreciate your patience.
