I'm doing a project, and I need quotes from someone who's on the Union side in the Battle of Chickamauga (Maybe the general?). I need more than one, so if anyone can find it, please reply here , Thank you :)

Which General?  There were several generals on the Union side.  What kind of report is this .  What kind of quote do you want?  Have you tried looking in books on Chicamagua?  They are full of quotes .  Even googling Battle of Chicamaugua will bring up quotes from various generals .

General William Rosecrans, if you can find it.
I  google it, but all i could find is quotes by other general, not Rosecrans.
It's part of a project (a portal page)that I need to make a newspaper page (In Their Own Words), and have a Union soldier telling the battle in his own words.
And thank you :)

You need someone other than Rosecrans to tell that story. He was too busy running away!

Rosecrans is not the one who tells the story.
A random Union soldier is supposed to tell the story. And he is talking about Rosecrans.

Victoria,
This might not be what you are looking for but it is a good quote from Ambrose Bierce who was serving on General George Thomas' staff on Snodgrass Hill on the evening of the second day,
" Away to our left and rear some of Bragg's people set up the 'rebel yell.'It was taken up successively and passed round to our front, along our right and in behind us again until it seemed almost to have got to the point whence it started. It was the ugliest sound that any mortal ever heard--even a mortal exhausted and un-nerved by two days of hard fighting, without sleep, without rest, without food and without hope. There was, however, a space somewhere at the back of us across which that horrible yell did not prolong itself, and through that we finally retired in profound silence and dejection, unmolested"

RE: Susansweet3

Thank you for your help. There are a lot of details on that site, however, I could not find a quote by Rosecrans (on the dates that i'm looking for- September 19-20th- Battle of Chickamauga) Thanks a lot for your help though! :)

Victoria I am sorry that the site didn't have exactly what you needed.  If the official records didn't have a report from Rosecrans then he didn't file one .  So there would not be any quotes from him.

Susan

RE: David White

That is a good site, but it was written in October. I want a quote before September 21st. However, I'll still consider that in my project :) Thank you.

Go to part 3 and 4 of that volume of the OR  and you will probably see the dispatches he sent leading up to the battle and during the battle in the "letters" section.  Here is a link to the search function where you may search for those:

http://cdl.library.cornell.edu/moa/

The books (not journels) are where you will find the Official Records.
