I found it on ebay, it's a 2005 release and I am curious about its realsim, and conformity to actual history. Is it strictly fun, or can it be a learning experience? Can it be played by one against the computer. Needless to say I'm considering purchasing it. thanks!

I have this, actually. The graphics aren't anything special, and it's not terribly accurate. Yes, you can play against the computer, but I found it hard to figure out so I stopped playing it. It's not very fun, but it does feature actual events each turn. I prefer Ageod's American Civil War, which gives a very accurate and detailed presentation of the war. I agree with Lawrence. Nothing special so I suggest spend your money on another Civil War Game. Perhaps take up golf! If you are left handed I suggest Golf Left Handed

I agree with both Lawrence63 and Christine Lambert - there are better options that you might want to consider: - Ageod's American Civil War - Forge of Freedom - Battleground Series - Take Command Series - Scourge of War - Gettysburg I've tried them and they are much better and more fun, also some of them you can play against real opponents and not just the AI. What game experience are you looking for? __________________________
