Hi everybody,

I'm living in Ireland and have been involved in a website dealing with the life and military career of Myles Keogh. Keogh originally hailed from Ireland and fought in Europe before being recruited by the Union army in '62. After serving for three years in the Federal ranks, he was commissioned a captain in the 7th cavalry where he eventually met his fate along with Custer and 200+ other troopers at the Little Big Horn.

I've acquired a whole new interest in the American Civil War since undertaking research for the site so I'm happy to have landed here (just in time for St. Patrick's Day!). Pop over and have a look at the site.

New to the discussion boards. This is the first post I read - your Keogh page is fantastic. I can't wait to finish reading all the cool stuff you have there. Annie.

Hey there,

This might be weird but my mom's family is Lakota Sioux and my uncle is a direct descendant of Sitting Bull one of the Lakota leaders at the Battle of the Little Bighorn

Hey there!
This is absolutely fascinating. Seriously cool stuff. If you don't mind me asking, where in Ireland are you from?
Haven't met very many people with interest in the American Civil War from here, so i'm just curious.
