Any Mort Künstler fans out there? If you're not familiar with him and his Civil War artwork, look him up. He is known for his incredible detail and historic accuracy. His website is http://www.mortkunstler.com/. We just acquired a license to use his artwork on different collectible products. These are available at http://www.mkunstlershop.com. Let me know if your favorite painting isn't yet listed.

Don't believe that Kunstler knows much about the Western Theater.

Bought a calendar of his about a decade ago, maybe thirteen or forteen years at the most. Also have some of his artwork on a couple of computer games (both Civil War related) So on one I've got

War is Hell. Which shows Atlanta, I believe, burning as Sherman is going past (the gallery only lists the titles some I'm guess it's Atlanta and not Columbia.

On to Richmond.

His Old War Horse.

Shenandoah Sunrise. .

General "Stonewall" Jackson Enters Winchester.

It's All My Fault. Lee bows his head atop Traveller as the troops return from the ill fated Pickett's Charge.

Chamberlain's Charge.

Follow Me Boys.

Keep To Your Sabers, Men!

Oh, I Wish He Was Ours.

There Stands Jackson Like A Stone Wall. Jackson atop horse at First Bull Run (First Manassas)

Confederate Winter.

Stuart's Ride Around McClellan.

Jackson at Antietam. Jackson looking out over his wounded.

Old Jack's New Uniform. Listed as Lee's Lieutenants on his site so I'll go with that title over what the game's gallery lists it as

Wouldn't http://www.mortkunstler.com/html/art-original-masterworks.asp?action=view&ID=41&cat=132, http://www.mortkunstler.com/html/art-original-masterworks.asp?action=view&ID=31&cat=132, http://www.mortkunstler.com/html/art-limited-edition-prints.asp?action=view&ID=34&cat=177, http://www.mortkunstler.com/html/art-american-spirit.asp?action=view&ID=197&cat=144 wouldn't count as more Western Theater?

We have many of the paintings in our store listed by Hellcat—quality reproductions, all very affordable. Plus, thru the end of July we're giving away a free bookmark with each order.

I enjoy many of his works but find it a bit too animated looking at times. I am fortunate that I favor the Eastern Campaign over much of the rest and have John Paul Strain's works thank God!

The realism is great. Just hope John gets a bit more into the battle scenes as Troiani does (another great artist).

That would be impressive to me-

Cheers all!

I am fond of Dale Gallon, my wife just bought me "Comming Rain" for our anniversery, and when we were in Gettysburg in June we purchased " The Fighting Irish".
