I need a little help trying to locate, or relocate, a website. I'm thinking it's US Regulars Archive. What I know for certain is that it contained copies of various US Army manuals from the period. Some of which I've gotten in hard copy, but it's been something I could point folks to in the past. And some of the manuals they had I've not seen around here in hard copy.

I've got what should be the link but when I try using it I getting an error message. As my link is an old one, I'm wondering if the site moved. A search for the site brings up Casey's On Line - Civil War Virtual Archive which looks to be the old site address as it's redirecting to the same link I've got.

Hellcat,

We have that site in LinkCentral as a 5-star site, as I remember it was rather amazing in it's depth. But it appears you are correct, it seems to be gone. We never got a note from them asking to change the url. The old one is http://www.usregulars.com/   , and comes up as page not found.

Thanks javal. Might have been from here I got the link, no longer remember where I originally got it. It is annoying, though, that you didn't get anything announcing the site's changing it's url. Really is a great site and considering how many probably found in through CWI I would have thought they would have notified you of the change. Unless of course they don't know the site is down either.
