I have co-authored a series on the Kentucky Campaign in 1862.   A two book series about the events leading to the Battle of Perryville, KY, and the battle itself.  The first book "A Dark and Bloody Ground: Sowing the Wind"  will take you through the events of that week in 1862.  Beginning with the inauguration of  Richard Hawes in Frankfort as the "Confederate" Governor and ending about 2 hours before the actual Battle of Perryville.
The second book "A Dark and Bloody Ground: Reaping the Whirlwind" takes you through the battle and the day after with the Confederate withdrawal from Kentucky.

We are looking for high traffic events to which we can set up and sell these books.

We are also available to speak at the events we attend if asked to do so.  We charge no fee for speaking.  It is our goal to educate and bring to light the events of that week in October 1862, when Kentucky lay in the balance between North and South.

Please list your event and contact info!!

Thank you!!
