4256 - most hits (Pete Rose)

2105 - single season rushing record (Eric Dickerson)

56 - longest hit streak (DiMaggio)

420 - was record number of TD passes by Marino - since broken by Favre

215 - Record points season in Hockey - gretsky

That's all I can spot off the top of my head

1919 – Black Sox scandal

406 – Williams last >400 batting average in 1941
