A few years ago while looking through Shotgun's Home of the American Civil War (http://www.civilwarhome.com/) I came across something I thought was a bit cute in the Potpourri section called Civil War All Stars (http://www.civilwarhome.com/allstars.htm). Now it's probably something more baseall fans can get a kick out of. But as it's baseball season now, I got to thinking. What would a penant race look like? I look at this article as being more the lineup for the All Star game. But how who would folks select for the league penant race. Not only that, but what positions might folks put the various generals on this list in now. I mean maybe McClellan instead of "playing" left field is changed to being the manager for the Eastern Division champs in the penant race.
