Ok guys, I wrote a Civil War story three years ago during a revival. I have recently just finished a writing class in which a published writer critiqued my work. I revised it and it got about 3 pages longer. Truthfully, the story could be defined as Historical Religious Fiction. I was curious to know if any of you guys knew of magazines that accept short stories? I looked at GuidePost already and they do not accept anything but true life stories. I was however able to submit my 9 page story to Readers Digest. If any of y'all have any suggestions, please let me know. :-)

You might want to check with Writing For Dollars (http://www.writingfordollars.com/GuidelinesDB.cfm) for a market.
