The only time I really winced was when the narrator told me that in 1855 R.E. Lee went West to take command of the newly formed 2nd Cavalry DIVISON. How'd the editor miss that one? I guess we all have bad days...

They made numerous mistakes when referencing regiments, brigades, divisions, etc. I know I'm nitpicking. On a similar vein, PW, dude, Hank C in his post was making reference to you Overlord Campaign, it's Overland Campaign. Doc C

I enjoyed "Lee and Grant"(title rearranged for us southerners) quite a bit more than the Gettysburg program. My major complaint is the same as everyone else so far....no overland campaign? It should have been a 4 hour series. As for Gberg....meh...cheesy HC graphics and disjointed, out of context, semi-interesting vignettes. It's really sad to see how far this once good network has fallen since the days of CWJ etc. Still, if the general public gets even a smidgeon of interest in learning the whole story then I will not complain too harshly.

HC has been bad for a long time...HC International is more like the old HC...not a pawn shop in sight.

It's always surprising to me when History Channel actually shows history these days. And when it does..... well this thread would seem to suggest the quality of that.
