What? Time Magazine's list of the most influential events of the past 200 years does not include anything about the Civil War?? Yes, it includes the EP and the DS Case, but nothing about the war. WWII is there. Why not the CW??

While the Civil War was clearly a watershed event in American history, perhaps the Times folks did not think that the war itself was of great international significance. WWII, on the other hand, involved literally the entire planet. If that was their reasoning, I suppose it is debatable. I'd like to see the entire list. Mark
