Javal, I apologize. http://civilwartalk.com/members/savez.1963/ Savez, you were not banned on CWT. There is no tag under your name as banned. If you have forgotten your password there is a "Forgot Your Password" button on the login page. My work computer has a over imaginative security protocal and will not often let me post on CWT & CWI unless I jump through hoops. Perhaps you are dealing w/ a security issue, I don't know. But to clarify, as a retired mod, I will vouch for the Civil War Talk site in saying you have not been banned.

Ugh. Seriously, could you guys please just follow Javal's instructions and let it go? Or at least take it to PM's? I, and I hazard to guess most other readers here, really don't give two shakes of a rat's behind what goes on at another board, who is banned or not banned, whether the mods hate the South, etc. I'd rather this place not turn into what it sounds like this other board is like.

Can't tell you how great it was to return from almost a week in the hospital to find this first-grade food fight still going on. From this point on anyone mentioning this idiotic nonsense, in any way shape or form, will be thrown off the board. Don't continue it here, don't start it in another thread.

Definitely some anti-Southern sentiment going on [that other board]. Surprises me that a Moderator (other board; yes, I visited it) on the board in question would behave in such a partisan way. With respect to the Moderator on this board: The Alabama boy on this thread (OP) was defending himself. But as already mentioned, if you have to strongly differ [and of a personal nature], do it with PM's. It is because of things like this (overly strong partisan spirits) that I took a long time (years) to join any War Between the States' forums. Both of you (I want to grab both of you and knock your heads together) need to realize (possibly for the first time) that both armies in that conflict were made up of Americans. JKHolman
