I am looking for letters, diaries, and/or reminiscences from men in Maj. Gen. Mosby M. Parsons's Confederate Missouri Division as primary sources for a history of the division that I am writing.  The division consisted of the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and 16th Missouri Infantry regiments as well as Pindall's 9th Battalion of Missouri Sharpshooters.  The two artillery batteries attached to the division were Capt. A. A. Lesueur's MO Btty and Capt. Samuel T. Ruffner's MO Btty.

To date, I have copies of over 30 letter groups, diaries, and reminiscences from members of these units.  Most have come from university and state historical society archives.  A few have come from private collections.  Any leads on any material from members of these units would be greatly appreciated.

Please feel free to contact me at gurleybillyj@uams.edu

Thank you.

Bill
