Hi All; Joined the group to ask for help finding info on the Florida Rangers, a Union unit mustered from Unionists living on Useppa Island and the Peace River valley here in southwest Florida ca. 1863. I have muster-in rolls for two units, lloking for more info... I'm writing an historical novel set in the just-post-war period. Also a blackpowder shooter, builder and player of mountain dulcimers and other instruments, and retired technical writer living aboard a 26 ft sailboat.
