i have one 'signed' by andrew jackson.
 
it is actually a clerk's signature...

From what I have read, some are signed by the actual president, but a dime a dozen? not even close. They go for 150 to 200 on ebay if its in good condtion. A confederat note that is a comon 64 series 10 that were printed in the millions go for 30 to 50 now.

I wouldn't rely on eBay to determine the worth of something, personally. Remember you're looking at how much people are putting something up for on there and how much people are paying for it. A lot of times there may be things that would be caught by an appraiser to raiser or lower the value of something that someone putting something up on eBay might not get.
