I got to go to Mumford, NY on Saturday and it was a beautiful day.  I couldn't believe the size of the turn out for re-enactors.  It was a great time.  I hope you like my photos from the event.  I tried to capture as much as I could.  Enjoy!

Wow, those are good too!

Is there a story behind the skull?

Great Shots, better than I could have done.  I was there on Sunday

and boy was it hot and you certainly felt for the boys in wool with the

sweat dripping off them.

Thank you guys very much for the compliments.  As for the skull, during the day they were teaching about after battle medical practices, well, at just about the end of the day I went back past the medical tent and saw this lone skull with the bullet wound in his head and thought that was a powerful statement about war.....and I thought the light was cool :)

As for taking photos like that...well, that's a little more complicated :P

Thanks again for the compliments!

Mike

EXCELLENT shots (as usual) Mike and I wouldn't expect anything less from a photographer of your caliber. Thanks!

GAWK... MAub is kissing up something fierce, but I agree, your work is amazing.  I'm putting my boots on anyway.
