Hi, Joe, I would like to know how to insert a link when I post in here. I know how to copy the address and paste it, but I want the underline feature that enables readers to click and go. Can you help me here, please? Thanks, Patty Last edited on Thu Nov 9th, 2006 11:46 am by Widow |

Patty, Two ways: 1. Simply type the URL. It will link itself as long as it starts with www. You can then highlight it and underline it if you wish. 2. The better way. If I want to link to CWi, I first highlight the word, then click the link button at the top of the reply box toolbar that looks like this - . That should bring up a box where you can paste or type the URL. Unfortunately, you have to underline it manually.Hope that helps....

I checked an address which I had posted yesterday, a list of wounded Civil War veterans in Wyoming, and discovered that it worked. http://www.rootsweb.com/~wyalbany/pens.htm So now I'm set to go. Thanks, Patty
