I will be gone for the weekend, but I would like to remind you all that this Saturday/Sunday marks the 95th anniverary of the sinking of RMS Titanic. Please offer up a prayer for the 1507 souls that perished that cold night in the North Atlantic. For more information: http://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/ "If it becomes at all doubtful, let me know at once. I will be just inside." -Captain EJ Smith's final instructions to the Officer Of the Watch before retiring for the night on April 14, 1912.

A profoundly poignant moment in time. I've often thought that if I could meet 10 historical figures, living or dead, Second Officer Lightoller would be on my list. Have a good weekend! JR Last edited on Sat Apr 14th, 2007 04:46 am by JoanieReb |
